All checked out and ready to go home. Bags are with security and car to airport is booked. All that remains is to have one final lunch in the sunshine by the pool- total bliss!!
I ordered garden salad which had mixed leaves, cucumber, peppers, tomatoes, avocado and feta. It was light and a delight to eat in the sunshine. The hotel staff were charming and are trying to entice me to come back to the Serena in Kigali. It definitely feels a bit sad to be leaving Rwanda

  1. jan ranger – rwnada, IMHO, is the prettiest place on earth. it is paradise for my soul .it is hard for my mind to reconcile the genocide horror and the beauty of the land and its people. some things can never be understood, this side of Heaven. thanks for taking me back there in your pictures 🙂
