my final birthday celebration

After more than a week of celebrating, I was secretly relieved that it was all over. I was shocked to be sitting in Bob Stewarts, enjoying a drink with some pals, when the lights went out and Happy Birthday started playing on the speakers. A cake was then delivered to me and everyone sang! I was admiring the lovely chocolate creation when the lights went out and the whole thing was repeated, this time with a lemon cake! I blew out the candles for a second time and hoped that there wasn’t a third! The whole thing was very funny and a much appreciated surprise.
