Having not eaten since my birthday cake yesterday I was absolutely famished! The other half and I decided to take ourselves to the Beechill Inn which is probably the best kept secret in Belfast. How anyone finds it is a mystery as it is tucked away in an industrial development. I have been visiting it for years and I am convinced that it is the same characters propping up the bar each time I am in!
We decided just to share a couple of starters. We opted for the chicken liver pate and the rustic mushrooms along with a portion of tobacco onions. These, with 2 soft drinks and 1 coffee came to £16.30. The food was good though and just the right amount for a light lunch
