dining on the Eurostar is maybe not for me…

Having really enjoyed breakfast on the Eurostar to Paris this morning, I was looking forward to seeing what was on offer for dinner. Sadly it was a bit disappointing but maybe it just wasn’t to my taste. The starter was an oriental prawn salad but unfortunately, I don’t like prawns. There was a choice of mains and I opted for the turkey in a sauce which wasn’t very nice but did come with a chestnut puree which was delicious. There was also a chocolate tart which I resisted as it looked a bit sickening. I did enjoy a nice glass of champagne though- just to help me through the one hour time change!
