enjoying a sneaky scone in Cafe Laurent

Met up with some friends for a coffee this morning and as I hadn’t had breakfast, decided to indulge my inner carb lover with a scone.
Cafe Laurent is an odd place. It is situated in Forestside shopping centre in Belfast and has a steady stream of shoppers. The only thing is that it is full of people having chips at 11 in the morning which just doesn’t make sense to me!
I opted for a plain scone which I asked the waitress to heat and had it with butter and raspberry jam. It was definitely just average which was very disappointing
