The restaurant Nautika in Dubrovnik is situated right on the sea and beside the walled entrance to the Old Town.
The restaurant is housed in the former Dubrovnik School of Maritime Studies, and it welcomed famous seafarers from 1881. Today the restaurant promotes itself as bringing the location’s rich history to life while retaining the noble atmosphere of a period when Dubrovnik was a republic
The food on offer is Mediterranean and beautifully presented. There appears to be a big focus on Seafood which wouldnt be my favourite!
For a starter we were served a duo of risottos, one with squid and one with prawns. I tried a little of each but they really werent to my taste
The main course was Croatian white fish with a ratatouille style selection of vegetables. This was delicious and accompanied by a some very good white wine
