I am not the biggest fan of Japanese food and to be honest, Sushi leaves me cold.  I wasnt the happiest person in Dubrovnik when it was decided (without consultation) that we were all going to eat in Satu, the renowned Japanese restaurant in the Excelsior hotel, Dubrovnik.

Having had a small sulk, I perused the menu and remembered that I do really like Teriaki so I ordered the chicken option.

My spirits lifted after realising that Francis Ford Coppola was dining right beside me, and a drink of sake also helped!

Having enjoyed the teriaki, I did eat a couple of the vegetarian sushi which had rice and cucumber.  I like the ritual of eating sushi but just not the raw fish element.  I must be a wimp!

Sadly, that was the third meal of the day that I ate in the Excelsior as it was a full day of meetings etc.  Each 3 were eaten in different restaurants so it didnt feel quite as limited as it really was.  The food was good and the staff excellent
