Randalls coffee house on the Lisburn Road in Belfast is quaint little establishment. A queue for the counter was definitely a good sign of its popularity and I was pleasantly surprised by the range of food. We ordered and paid and took our seats which were actually old church pews. The staff were really helpful and quite charming. Its certainly not the cheapest coffee house in the area but the food was excellent.
I had a bowl of cream of lentil soup with a small salad selection. There were a range of salads to choose from. I opted for mixed bean salad, red cabbage with ginger, oriental noodle salad, carrot, sultana and sesame seed salad with tossed leaves. A very unusual selection but most satifying. The soup was one of the finest lentil soups I have ever had!
