Cooked and served in their pods, these look like a bit of a cross between a broad bean and a pea and are a really rich source of antioxidants. Eating antioxidants has become a bit of a trend amongst health conscious people as they are claimed to strengthen the immune system, lower blood pressure and reduce the risk of cancer! What’s not to like about that?
It definitely helps that edamame beans are totally delicious and with so many nutrients, they really are magic beans!
I will continue to order them at every opportunity. (that’s not my thumb by the way!)

Where do you get them from? I can’t find them anywhere!
Hi Sarah- thanks for the question- you can get them is some healthy takeaway shops. They can also be bought frozen and shelled. They are sometimes packaged as soya beans. Good luck with your search!
