This nucao chocolate may just be my best discovery to date. It’s got 65% less sugar than other comparable bars, the packaging is totally home-compostable and for every bar that is sold, The Nu company plants a tree ( almost 6 million so far!) On top of all that, it is creamy and delicious.

The bars are available in Holland & Barrett and there are four flavours available (crunchy nougat, creamy noisette, roasted hazelnut and almond seasalt) They are vegan, plant-based, organic and plastic-free. They also have no refined sugar! What’s not to like?I really like the taste and texture. The chocolate has a lovely creamy texture and isn’t overly sweet. My favourite is definitely the almond seasalt, delicious little pops of almond & salt. Mr. Eating Ideas preferred the roasted hazelnut with its luxurious mouthfeel and rich flavour.

These are definitely worth a try and think of all the trees that will get planted if you do!
