Natural yoghurt is definitely one of the most versatile ingredients! I use it in everything, from salad dressings and soups, to sauces, dips and desserts. it is a healthy option and I often use it as an alternative to cream or creme fraiche.
I particularly like using this in curries and spicy sauces as it really helps to regulate the heat of the spices and you can add some extra for people who want their dishes very mild. You have to be carefull though as if the yoghurt is too low fat it will curdle when heated!
