Maple & cinnamon roasted pineapple

A recipe for a healthy and delicious maple syrup and cinnamon roasted pineapple. So tasty but easy to make. Well worth a try!

Simple, delicious and healthy- what’s not to like?

Pineapple is one of my all time favourite fruits. It’s just so yummy and can be used in so many different ways.

⭐️ Its enzymes can help with digestion
⭐️ It’s high in fibre
⭐️ Best of all- apparently it can help to breakdown fat!

This recipe is super simple. All I did was peel & slice the pineapple and lay it on a lined baking tray. I mixed 2 tbsps of maple syrup with 1 tsp of ground cinnamon and painted it on both sides of the pineapple slices. I then roasted it in the oven at 200C for 30 minutes, turning the slices over every 10 minutes.

I served the slices with pomegranate seeds, coconut yoghurt and some lime zest.

 Super tasty, healthy, gluten-free, dairy-free, fat-free, vegetarian and vegan too!
