Cosmo World Buffet in Belfast- a buffet style restaurant with cooking stations, serving a wide range of dishes from around the world.

Tucked away in Victoria Square, Belfast, Cosmo World Food Buffet offers an interesting dining option that combines the convenience of a buffet with live cooking.  Stepping inside felt like embarking on a global culinary adventure without ever leaving the heart of Victoria Square.

A Look at the Experience

Upon entering, I noticed an open layout that allowed guests to watch as chefs prepared various dishes right before their eyes. At the teppanyaki station, cooks skillfully handled steaks and fresh seafood on hot grills. The live cooking added a dynamic element to the meal, making it more than just a routine buffet experience.

A Diverse Selection of Flavors

The buffet features an assortment of dishes representing different corners of the world-from aromatic curries and stir-fries to pasta dishes and duck spring rolls. The food was prepared with attention to freshness, and it was clear that the kitchen aimed to offer as broad a selection as possible. This variety allowed me to choose according to my mood and appetite, and it catered to a wide range of tastes.  “What was my favourite?” I hear you ask.  Definitely the Indian section!

Drinks and Atmosphere

The venue offers a range of beverages, including free-flow soft drinks along with an assortment of beers, wines, spirits, and cocktails. The drink selection complements the food well, making it easy to enjoy a relaxed drink with your meal. The overall atmosphere is sociable but unpretentious, making it a suitable spot for solo diners, small groups, or families.  I have to say, it’s a popular spot- I couldn’t see an empty table anywhere!
