Did you know that 70% of food waste happens at home? With these living greens, you simply snip off what you need as you need it.
I was excited to receive my first pack, with a range of radish, rocket and turnip. The instructions were really easy to follow and I was thrilled when the greens started to appear. I have been throwing them onto absolutely everything and love them!
Microgreens are just young versions of herbs and veg, cut before they’ve had a chance to grow. Silly Greens make the greens work by sowing them in Jelly. This locks the seeds in place while they are in the post and keeps them hydrated. As they grow it shrinks, leaving nothing behind but roots.. They sow a new box each week on the farm in Suffolk and post them out the same day. After they’ve had a bit of time in the dark, loads of seeds quickly pop up producing a dense patch of delicious and super healthy microgreens.
