I love a farmers market. Its a great way to discover new foodie delights from local producers and to get to meet the makers. It’s also a very social way to spend an hour or two on a Saturday. We had great time, catching up as we wandered. We were delighted to find a wide selection of local, fresh, seasonal and artisan foods. I stocked up on some new goodies and will share my creations as they are made. Watch out for recipes featuring the Walnut Ketchup from the Curious Farmer, the Harissa paste from Tom and Ollie and the fresh Turmeric from Amberline preserves to name but a few!
The next two markets will have a slightly different flavour and an impressive 35 producers will take part over the summer. Why not pop along, shop local and support your local producers? There definitely is something for everyone. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit and will definitely be back!
