A pop-up Mullins Ice cream Parlour in Victoria Square
Sunday, July 2, 2017
It's National Ice cream month and to celebrate, Mullins Ice Cream has set up a "Month of Sundaes" pop-up ice cream parlour in Victoria Square!
Eating Ideas was invited to the launch of the pop up. A chance to experience the range of Mullins Ice cream and their toppings bar? Yes please!
On arrival we were greeted with a choice of Peach Melba Bellinis or Jawbox gin with Fevertree tonic and honeycomb. Platters of very tempting bites from the Ivory were circulating with a range of mini burgers, chicken skewers, beer battered cod goujons, bruschetta, goats cheese tartlets and sweet potato fries. All delicious and the perfect preparation for the main event, the Mullins Ice cream bar! This looked amazing with candy strip awnings and a vast selection of wonderful flavours of ice-cream. Where to start with the #MakemyMullins challenge? I decided to forgo the cone option and go straight for the ice-cream. A scoop of cookies & cream and one of salted caramel topped with mini smarties was my final decision and I loved every bite!
The Mullins pop up will be at Victoria Square for the whole month of July so make sure to pay a visit. You can find out more about Mullins and their full range here.
Thanks to Victoria Square and Morrow Communications for the invitation.
