A sneak peek at Babel roof top bar in Belfast
Saturday, October 21, 2017
Eating Ideas was invited to the official opening of Babel, the new rooftop bar and garden at Bullitt Hotel with panoramic city views across Belfast. What a treat!
Mr. Eating Ideas and I were delighted to get an advance look at this fabulous new rooftop venue before the doors opened to the public.
This lush new rooftop bar and garden – is part of a £1.75m expansion of the popular Bullitt Hotel in the city centre. The space features a lovely indoor bar, an open-air terrace with panoramic views & a retractable roof (vital for the weather in Northern Ireland) and a cosy corner VIP room that we were quick to ensconce ourselves in.
We were treated to glasses of Prosecco on arrival followed by stunning cocktails. I did see some platter of delicious looking canapés doing the rounds but I was too busy enjoying the craic with the other guests to grab any- my loss!
The rooftop bar and garden is the largest in Ireland with plush velvet and leather interiors in a deep green, ocean blue and bubble gum pink colours. One of the features is a living wall with 300 fresh plants and herbs that feature on the cocktail menu and a vertical exterior garden wall that can be seen from ground level.
Babel is definitely worth a visit and If you are planning to go, you can access it via a dedicated new entrance on Ann Street. You can find out more here.
Thanks to MCE Public Relations for the invitation.
