The new Northern Ireland producer & restaurant guides from NI Food

Friday, March 9, 2018

Eating Ideas was invited to the launch of the new Northern Ireland food producer and restaurant guides from NI Food. What an easy way to discover the best food and drink options that Northern Ireland has to offer.

This “Taste the Greatness” event was held to celebrate the fantastic food and drink in Northern Ireland through the launch of the brand new producer and restaurant guides from Food NI.  These guides are essential for any self respecting foodie in Northern Ireland and perfect for visitors too!

In addition, Hastings Hotels launched its new “Who Made My Breakfast?” booklet which celebrates the dedication and passion of the group’s suppliers from across Northern Ireland and the local produce used in what is said to be the most important meal of the day.

These suppliers include: Grand Café Coffee from UCC, roasted in County Antrim, Grant’s Dry Cured Bacon from Derry-Londonderry, black and white pudding from Gracehill Fine Foods in County Antrim, mushrooms from Malachy McKenna in Dungannon, Waggle Dance Honey from Portadown, Clandeboye Estate Yoghurt from Bangor and Just Live a Little granola and muesli from Portaferry.

We were treated to a fine breakfast feast featuring suppliers from the brochure and I have to say it was delicious!

If you don’t have them yet, Eating Ideas has a copy of each of the guides to give away.  Keep an eye out for details!
