Raspberry and white chocolate cheesecake shared between four at the Stables in Groomsport  

Main course of chicken goujons, salad and saute potatoes at the Stables, Groomsport. Chicken was in a light but tasty batter and served with sweet chilli sauce  

My share of a shared starter portion of stuffed mushrooms at the Stables in Groomsport. They were served with sweet chilli sauce, garlic mayo and salad. Very nice!  

Not much to say about this. Was with friends and they ordered a selection of thai food for dinner after many many drinks  

A couple or rice cakes and houmus with a sprinkling of spring onions for a bit of colour for lunch  

Out for morning coffee with my sister and called into the Gallery in Holywood. We shared this white chocolate and raspberry scone which was delicious served with butter, jam and clotted cream  

Got my Saturday morning off to a good start with a bowl of Special K with red berries and ice cold milk.  

So here is a new one on me. Having spurned the previously criticised flybmi wrap- I merrily accepted this alternative “Captain Tiptoes scorching fire cracker grippingly stout rice puffs- ignited with crackpot puffishness”. Ok so its not everyones dream combination but this chicken and avocado salad was crying out to be followed by rock salt popcorn!  

A bowl of bran flakes with sliced banana for breakfast while sitting at my desk and pondering plans for the weekend  

A bowl of fresh pineapple is perfect after a spicy dish  

Morrocan spiced chicken served with couscous, baby spinach leaves, red pepper and some chick peas. A lovely combination of tastes and textures  

Another salad from Pret (easy as I work next door) today I had the Italian Chicken version but had to remove all the olives as they are the most evil of all foods!  

A nice green apple to keep me going until lunchtime. An apple is usually the last thing to appeal to me but I really fancied this  

A bowl of lovely mixed fresh fruit, yoghurt and Muesli while pondering over a baffling array of teas and coffees in the office!  

Lime and coriander chicken stir fry made with M+S marinated chicken breast, stirfry vegetables and seasoned with garlic, chilli and soy sauce. Spicy and delicious!
