Eating Ideas has teamed up with M&S Carrickfergus to give one lucky reader the chance to win a £50 M&S gift card to spend in-store. To be in with a chance of winning, just comment on this post saying why you should win or enter using one of the methods below.
The winner will be selected on Thursday 25 July.
Located at Shore Commercial Park, Belfast Road, the store will offer thousands of food products. The store will also have a wine shop as well as an in-store bakery with a selection of fresh breads and pastries baked throughout the day.
M&S Carrickfergus has recruited 50 staff members to join its new team, which includes offering new roles to existing M&S colleagues as well as creating jobs for the local community.
Store manager, Grace Lough and her team of colleagues, will be joined by Cllr. Maureen Morrow, Mayor of Mid and East Antrim Borough Council, alongside winners of the Carrickfergus Model Primary School colouring competition to cut the ribbon and officially open the brand-new store.
M&S Carrickfergus will also provide a Collect in Store service for its full range of clothing and home products. There are also 90 free car parking spaces.
The store will be open Monday to Saturday, from 8am to 9pm and Sunday, from 1pm to 6pm.

Marks and Spencers rocks. There best ever burgers are divine, there baked potatoes are amazing especialy when you put there fine green beans into them and there Colin the caterpillar cake is so good.

We love m&s, this would be lovely to get some picnic treats for our family days out
Looking forward to visiting the new Marks and Spencer in Carrick. I love how M & S food offering has evolved over the years introducing new cuisines, flavours and food inspiration. Although they do fab ready meals I think they still promote cooking from scratch (with a helping hand) which is great for working mummies like myself! A £50 voucher would buy lots of yummy party food for my daughter’s 9th birthday – a mad hatters tea party!

I would love to win this, I love M & S, despite what people might say about it being expensive, I find you get a lot for your money and with the sparks card there is always plenty of offers to save money.
