Another total experiment but luckily it worked (or perhaps I just have some strange taste buds).  I wanted something healthy, hence the Turkey breast which is extremely low fat.  I also wanted spicy, but something different from curry which I eat a lot!

I used harissa paste which is quite mild but full of middle Eastern promise.  To give it a bit of a kick, I couldnt resist a little curry powder and ground cumin.

I do love experimenting with different flavours.  This approach can be a bit hit and miss but is definitely worth a gamble.

Recipe

500g turkey breast mince

1 finely chopped onion

2 tbsp harissa paste

1/2 tsp curry powder

1/2 tsp ground cumin

ground black pepper

mix all the ingredients together and marinate

shape into sausages and place on a greased baking tray

place in an oven preheated to 200C

Cook for 30 minutes flipping the koftas over halfway through
