A Filo and Caramelised Apple Pie for Bramley Apple Week
Monday, February 6, 2017
This week is Bramley Apple Week 2017. To celebrate, I thought I would share my recipe for Caramelised Apple and Filo Pastry Pie. It's totally delicious and really easy to make. You will love it!

I have long been converted to the delights of filo pastry and I prefer it to other pastries as it is so light and flaky. The filo in this recipe works really well with the sticky sweetness of the caramelised apples. It’s a lovely combination and worth a try. If you do make it you will definitely want a second portion.
Recipe and instructions are below!
Ingredients
- 6 sheets of filo pastry
- 3 large apples
- 50g caster sugar
- 40g butter
- 1 tsp icing sugar
- Extra butter (melted)
