Sesame chicken stir fry

A recipe and instructions for an easy and delicious spicy sesame chicken stir fry with tahini, sesame oil and toasted sesame seeds


  • 200g chicken (cut into chunks)
  • 300g stir fry veg  (e.g. beansprouts, carrots, broccoli edamame beans etc)
  • 300g cooked noodles
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • ½ tsp chilli flakes
  • 2 tbsps tahini
  • ½ tbsp toasted sesame seeds
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 inch piece of fresh ginger (grated)
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • Zest and juice of a lime

 

 

 

  • Mix together the chilli flakes, tahini, soy sauce, ginger, honey, lime zest and juice of half the lime in a bowl
  • Fry the chicken in the sesame oil until just cooked
  • Add the veg and cook for a few minutes
  • Add the sauce and noodles and mix together well
  • Heat through until the veg is cooked but still has some bite
  • Add the remaining lime juice just before serving
  • Serve and sprinkle over the toasted sesame seeds and sliced spring onions
