This is a really simple canape recipe for water chestnuts wrapped in bacon with barbecue sauce. It really couldnt be easier! All you have to do is wrap each water chestnut with a small piece of streaky bacon (I used a third of a rasher for each) Wrap them tightly. Coat them all with BBQ sauce. You can make our own but I cheated and used a shop bought one as it works just as well.
Place on a baking tray and cook in the oven for around 25 minutes at 180C. Secure each one with a cocktail stick and serve. These really are delicious and vey moreish. You won’t have any left!!
