Theres a new “Ancient Rome” menu in Six By Nico Belfast and let me tell you, the Romans ate very well!
I love the concept of Six by Nico- a tasting menu of 6 courses for £32 with the option of matching wines for £27.00. Even better there is a full 6 course vegetarian menu and you can swap in any veggie option you fancy! The menu changes every 6 weeks and this new one is a classic!
Inspired by ancient traditions and interpreted through modern delicacies, the Ancient Rome menu pays homage to the origins of foods we know & love today!
I have to say, Nico and his team have created something special with this menu and the wine pairings were excellent. Add to that some very charming and informed staff and you have a pretty great night out.
