Christmas Cookie Place Cards

Christmas preparations are underway and I am hosting on the big day. I made these cranberry, cinnamon and white chocolate cookies and piped my guests' names onto them to make some quirky place settings. They look great and taste even better. I hope my guests love them!


125 g butter

175 soft brown sugar

1 tsp  vanilla extract

1 large egg

2 tsp ground cinnamon

180 g plain flour

¼ tsp salt

¼ tsp baking powder

75g dried cranberries

50g chopped white chocolate

100 g white chocolate to melt for topping the cookies

sieve together the flour, salt, baking powder and set aside

beat the butter and 2 sugars together

add the egg and vanilla and beat

fold in the flour and add the cranberries and chocolate

roll out flat and use a cookie cutter to make the shapes

bake for 15- 18 minutes until golden brown

Cool

Top with melted chocolate and ice on the names
